As a first-generation Canadian, I like to think I have a unique approach to life.

 

I appreciate the small things because I know how privileged I am to have them. I work hard because I know nothing replaces that. I know I need to take life into my own hands if I want to succeed.

I've been creative from a very young age. If there was a stage near me or any opportunity to perform in some way, I never shied away from it.

 

For me, creative outlets are thrilling. Life means nothing without art, without wonder, without imagination. My goal in life is to help people see the importance - the validity - of art.
